Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They can be "essential" (needed for a site to function) or "non-essential" (used for things like advertising or analytics).
Cookies we use
filesaudit.com does not use its own first-party tracking or analytics cookies. When ads are enabled on this site, MonetAg and its advertising partners may set cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, which may include personalized ads based on your browsing activity. This site also uses MonetAg's browser push-notification ad format, which registers a service worker (/sw.js) rather than relying on cookies alone — you'll see a separate browser permission prompt for this specifically, and can decline it independently of accepting cookies generally.
We do not currently use separate analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) on this site.
Your choices
- This site's consent banner: ads and their cookies are only loaded after you accept. If you decline, the ad provider's script is never requested at all.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies — check your browser's settings/preferences for "Privacy" or "Cookies."
- Industry opt-outs: opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
Blocking cookies may affect ad relevance but will not affect your ability to use FilesAudit's file analysis tools.
Changes
We may update this policy as the cookies we use change; check back periodically.
