Files you upload

When you upload a file for analysis, it is processed on our server to extract metadata, compute cryptographic hashes, and generate your PDF report. The file itself is deleted within seconds of analysis completing. The generated report (metadata fields and hashes — not the original file) is cached temporarily to allow you to download it, and is automatically removed after a short retention period. We do not review, share, or use the contents of uploaded files for any purpose other than producing your report.

If you'd prefer files never leave your computer at all, the Desktop App runs the identical analysis engine entirely locally — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Information we collect

• Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes.
• If you purchase the Desktop App: your email address and purchase details are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider and merchant of record — see Paddle's Privacy Policy. We receive your email to deliver your license key and are not given your full payment details (Paddle handles the transaction directly).
• If you email us: whatever you send us, used only to respond to you.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses MonetAg to display ads, including a browser push-notification format that works via a service worker (a small script your browser runs in the background) rather than cookies alone. MonetAg, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which may include ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of interest-based advertising generally at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies this site uses.

Other third-party services

• Resend — delivers transactional emails (e.g. your license key after a purchase).
• Hosting/infrastructure providers — process data as needed to run the service (servers, caching, content delivery).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since we don't retain uploaded files or reports beyond the short periods described above, there is typically nothing tied to you to delete on that front. Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
